 Nell (as I named her) has blue glass eyes and a lovely painted face with a closed mouth, brushed eyebrows and lashes. She has pierced ears with beaded earrings.

Her dress is a drop-waist, self-patterned blue silk decorated with ribbon, lace and brocade. Her bonnet, matches her dress and is adorned with flowers.

She is a jointed, all porcelain doll. The artist is unknown but there are hard to read markings on her neck.
