Philomene is "an
illusion" of Pauline's mother as a young child dressed in her finest! She wears a
gorgeous lace trimmed, hand- smocked white taffeta dress, exquisitely detailed with tiny
hand embroidered flowers on her bodice and skirt, over a lovely double ruffled tulle and
cotton petticoat, white panties, pink socks and black shoes.
She has brown eyes with human
hair eyelashes and lovely long auburn hair tied up with a pretty pink bow. Philomene
carries her precious "composition look" doll, Marie, which has long blond hair
and is dressed in a hand-smocked taffeta dress.
Philomene is an exquisite
hand-painted 19˝" porcelain child with porcelain swivel head, arms and legs on a
cloth body. Marie is a sweet faced 9" doll with resin head, arms and legs and a cloth
body. Philomene is an individually hand-numbered Worldwide Limited Edition of 1,800 pcs.
